The Joy of 'Mixed' Weather

Looking outside the window at the moment and into the parking lot at work, it is all looking a bit grey...but The Dolls are not put off by a bit of grey and rain (after all it is Scotland).  So...we will be searching the back of our cupboards and closets for wellie boots and brollies...

According the BBC weather forecast it is...'mixed' - see Saturday's forecast . So please make sure that you come along prepared for a bit of 'mixed' weather. We will have our wellies on...

The weather may be mixed, but we will still be brightening up the street with bunting, singing and a bit of fun...

Aaahhhh...an Edinburgh summer

Well, the weather has just about sorted itself out to a steady state of sun (sometimes), rain (not always), and cloud (mostly).  But that hasn't stopped The D.Dolls forging ahead with summer and autumn plans...see more on our 'FORTHCOMING EVENTS' page.  There's a garden party in store and a gig in Portobello...!

Well - it's been a while...

Yes, it has been a while since we have last posted, but that doesn't mean that there hasn't been movement forward in leaps and bounds!!!

So we'll start with a quick update...

1. We had great fun in summer 2012 as we wrote, produced and performed in our very own Edinburgh Festival Fringe show.  Our four nights at the Royal Scots Club were absolutely fabulous and the show was very well received by our audiences.
2. Emma, one of the lovely Dolls, moved to sunny California (who can blame her) to get married and start a family.
3. Claire McVicar joined us as a fabulous, soprano Doll
4. 'Piano' Paul Millest also joined us to tinkle the ivories and to add that certain sparkle to our D.Doll family.
5. Plans are afoot for Summer 2013 and a few gigs lined up for the Fall - all good!
